Chemical Peels
Chemical Peels are used to help improve the following skin conditions:
- Acne / breakouts
- Enlarged pores
- Sun damage
- Uneven pigmentation
- Dry / rough skin
- Dull / lifeless skin
At Rodin Clinic we use topical solutions containing different combinations of AHA's (alpha hydroxy acids) and BHA's (beta hydroxy acids) to give a superficial peel with no 'time out' required for recovery.
This treatment is beneficial for mild sun damage, superficial pigmentation, fine lines, enlarged pores, and acne prone skin.
Optimal results are achieved with a series of 4 to 6 treatments given at intervals between 1 and 4 weeks.
Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA Solution) is also given as a superficial peel but is suitable for a more sun damaged or aged skin. An improvement in the skin is noticeable after one peel, however best results can been seen after a series of treatments.
