Cost of Surgery
There is an initial consultation fee with Dr Cooper that may not be rebatable. The cost of cosmetic surgery is made up of these five different fees:
- Surgical fees cover your pre-operative appointment with our practice nurse Elizabeth, surgery with Dr Cooper and all immediate post operative follow up appointments, inclusive of dressings.
- The Anaesthetist's fees cover your pre-operative consultation with the anaesthetist and the anaesthetist's services during your procedure.
- The hospital fee covers your theatre and bed fees for your stay in hospital. Each hospital has a different fee structure and one hospital may be more expensive than another. Pharmacy fees for medication may be included or may be payable on discharge.
- The implant fee covers the cost of any implant used in your surgery.
- A pressure garment may be required for certain procedures. This needs to be purchased prior to surgery and taken to hospital.
