Cost of Surgery

There is an initial consultation fee with Dr Cooper that may not be rebatable. The cost of cosmetic surgery is made up of these five different fees:

  1. Surgical fees cover your pre-operative appointment with our practice nurse Elizabeth, surgery with Dr Cooper and all immediate post operative follow up appointments, inclusive of dressings.
  2. The Anaesthetist's fees cover your pre-operative consultation with the anaesthetist and the anaesthetist's services during your procedure.
  3. The hospital fee covers your theatre and bed fees for your stay in hospital. Each hospital has a different fee structure and one hospital may be more expensive than another. Pharmacy fees for medication may be included or may be payable on discharge.
  4. The implant fee covers the cost of any implant used in your surgery.
  5. A pressure garment may be required for certain procedures. This needs to be purchased prior to surgery and taken to hospital.

Following your consultation with Dr Cooper we will be able to give you a quote for your procedure.

It's our aim to give proper informed financial concent when considering any procedure.
